Dear McKnight Pediatric Families,
1. The COVID questionnaire must be completed and submitted to the office 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Completing the questionnaire and returning it to our office in a timely manner will ensure that our staff has time to review the responses, get additional information if needed and reschedule the appointment in a timely manner. Failure to do so will result in your appointment being rescheduled which can result in a cancellation fee.
2. The main entrance door will be locked at all times. All patients must complete their check-in online thru the patient portal and/or in the Healow app.
3. When you are parked in the garage. Please check-in online thru the patient portal or Healow app, then give our office a call to let us know where you are located and that you have completed the contactless check in. Our staff will contact you when you can come up. We are not using the waiting room until further notice.
LATENESS AND MISSED APPOINTMENTS
As a courtesy, you will receive a reminder call of your child's appointment 1-2 days prior to your appointment. However, we expect you to take responsibility for any appointments you make with the office. If you are late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, you may need to reschedule your appointment. If you find that you must change the time of a previously scheduled appointment, we require 24 hours' notice of the change in time. Calls must be received by the office during normal business hours. Please understand that we are holding your appointment slot, and we are unable to open that slot to other patients if you do not notify us in a timely manner. If you miss an appointment or do not provide at least 24 hours' notice of cancellation, or must reschedule as a result of your late arrival, we will charge a $25 "missed appointment" fee.
